It's a blue Scalextric set then...
My dear son (named after Jackie STEWART and GRAHAM Hill) and his lovely Brazilian wife, brought my first grandson into the world this morning, July 26th (UK time) so socram is one very happy bunny as he now knows what colour Scalextric set to buy...
No name for the baby as yet though.

Thanks. My wife already has 4 grandsons - all in NZ. Unfortunately for me, my one and only son grew up in the UK so he lives there.
At least as a boy, there may be a slim possibility of educating him into being a petrolhead, though from a distance, it might be difficult via Skype! Someone has to inherit my memorabilia and models or I'll have to sell them.

Congratulations on the addition Socram.
Have you seen the limited edition mini boxed car from Scalextric? Walked into a Toyworld store with frd4 recently and they had a big sale on so I conned them into letting me have it for 40% off.

Thanks.
Missed that, though I have got the Kiwi Scalex Mini.
I don't buy often but the Scalex stuff is so good these days, that it is better value than the 1/43 statics. I like 1/32 as a scale. 1/43 just a bit too small.

The Dawson one, as raced here a couple of seasons ago with Scalextric sponsorship/logos.

Haven't seen that one! Now, what I really need is the Mann Cortina!
